Repsol Honda rider Casey Stoner took pole for both of them this season after being the fastest in qualifying for the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez Circuit, Saturday, April 2, 2011.
Got lost on his Honda teammate, Dani Pedrosa, on the second and third free practice, Stoner back show best performance in qualifying.
Although the accident at the first corner at the last minute qualifying, Stoner continues to be the fastest with a record time of 1 minute 38.757 seconds. The Australian rider Pedrosa beat that only 0.003 seconds off Stoner lost.
Defending champion of the Yamaha MotoGP, Jorge Lorenzo, had to settle for starting the race at the Jerez circuit tomorrow, Sunday, April 3, 2011, from the third position. Achieved the fourth position teammate Lorenzo, Ben Spies, who also had an accident at the first corner.
